Pastor Jose Rojas serves as the director of the Office of Volunteer Ministries for the North American Division. The Office of Volunteer Ministries brings together church, institutional, and supportive organizations for shared goals in volunteer ministries including student missions, taskforce missions, literacy programs, community projects, Bible work, evangelism, and many other outreach activities. In these episodes, Rojas shows that Really Living is allowing Jesus to have use of all of your talents. This DVD includes two 60-minute episodes. The first is titled, “Gangs to God,” and the second, “Volunteerism.”
In “Gangs to God,” Rojas shares stories about growing up with an abusive father in the gang area of Los Angeles. But in 1970, meeting God transformed his life and the lives of his family. Rojas went on to become a pastor and develop a street ministry to gang members. “If God can take a simple guy off the streets and anything great, He can do that with anybody’s life,” says Rojas. duration 52:31
In “Volunteerism,” Rojas shares what is happening with volunteer ministries across North America. His goal is to show people that Really Living means using your gifts, whatever they may be, to share Jesus in your community. duration 52:01
