Knot Tying

1. Know and explain the different types of lashing.
2. Learn to make the following knots and explain their usage:

  1. Overhand knot
  2. Figure-eight knot
  3. Granny knot
  4. Square knot
  5. Clove hitch
  6. Fisherman's knot
  7. Sheet bend
  8. Sheepshank

3. Make a knot board that includes the eight knots you have learned to make.
