Reconnecting

Disappointments. Unfulfilled expectations. Unwelcome surprises. Very often they result from unrealistic expectations and vague hopes. Sometime they hit us broadside, when we should have seen them coming. Think of the Children of Israel, month two. They’re out of food and water, and they thought freedom was going to solve all their problems! Now they’re angry and ready to go back to slavery! Did they think the “Promised Land” was only a week or two away?
