The Bible says, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens" (Ecclesiastes 3:1, NIV). After raising two children with Margaret, my wife of 45 years, I am now enjoying my five grandchildren--and some extra time to reflect on what I've learned about raising money-wise kids.

At this point in my life, I feel called to share the numerous practical ideas I've discovered. Through hours of research and conversations with other families, as well as the trial and error of my own parenting experiences, I've gleaned suggestions that will be helpful for parents with children of all ages--from elementary school all the way up through college. (As you'll see, many of the examples in this book come from the Botting children and grandchildren!) It is my prayer that you will find this book useful as you raise your own children.
